Hand Sewing Workshop For Adults In-Person
Do you want to learn the basics of hand sewing? Do you want to make a fun zipper pouch? Or a felt wallet? Do you want to begin your journey of becoming a person who makes their own stuff?? If so, join us for a beginner’s hand sewing workshop in the Talbert Room at the Central Library, November 10th at 6PM!
There will be two options for participants: felt wallet/coin purse or fabric pouches! Felt is easier in terms of sight, size, grip, and fraying edges. Felt is also a better option for creating a uniquely shaped project! Fabric requires slightly more detail and a closer view of the project, but will be easier to puncture. Fabric is a straightforward process that is good for beginners who want to work on their precision.
There will be two sessions available. This one for Adults on November 10th, 2025 at 6PM and our second one for Teens only on November 24th, 2025 at 5PM. Registration is required for both programs.
