Color Theory Workshop for Teens & Adults Online
Join us in celebration of our Reading Colors Your World Summer Reading Program!
One of our fantastic Art Center volunteers will lead us in an interactive online workshop on the principles and practice of color theory and how it applies in creating a painting in the style of Hans Hofmann. All of the Abstract Expressionist painters - including Robert Motherwell, Jackson Pollock, Wolf Kahn, and Helen Frankenthaler - were influenced by Hans Hoffman - his work, plus his teachings about color.
Register to receive a list of needed supplies, with a canvas and paint brushes being provided by the library to be picked up prior to the virtual event.
