Summer Reading Challenge
Read a book and color your world!
The Summer Reading Challenge for kids, adults, and teens will run June 19 through July 31, 2021. During this time, HBPL encourages you to log your reading using one of our paper reading logs or through a free online reading account at hbpl.beanstack.org.

The theme for the Huntington Beach Public Library's 2021 overall Summer Reading Program is Reading Colors Your World.
The broad motif of “colors” provides a context for exploring humanity, nature, culture, and science, as well as programs and events that demonstrate how libraries and reading can expand your world through kindness, growth, and community.
Library patrons young and old will be encouraged to be creative, try new things, explore art, and find beauty in diversity.
