Teen Volunteer Training - Program Assistant In-Person
NEW teen volunteers ages 13 to 17 years old who wish to help with children's programming at the Central Library must attend this training before they may volunteer. Please note that new volunteers interested in shelving opportunities must wait for the December 4th quarterly shelving workshop before they may begin volunteering.
Volunteer duties covered in this Program Assistant workshop include reading aloud to children, helping with children's programs, craft storytimes, helping with lego club, and teen advisory group membership. Make sure to fill out the online teen volunteer application and bring it to the workshop.
