Teen Life Skills: Understanding Credit

Teen Life Skills: Understanding Credit In-Person

In this hands-on workshop presented by SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, teens ages 14 - 18 will learn critical money management skills around the topic of credit, including the do's and dont's of your first credit card, understanding how your credit score impacts your life, and how to develop good credit habits.

Life Skills for Teens is a monthly program series offered by HBPL Teen Services designed to give high school aged teens ages 14 - 18 an opportunity to learn important skills they may have missed out on learning elsewhere - like first aid, money management, car care, and more! Our Life Skills courses support and prepare teens for their lives after high school - in college, career, or adulthood beyond.

For each monthly session a student attends, they will receive volunteer service credit from the Huntington Beach Public Library in return for their attendance and participation in these events.
