Dare to Prepare: Parent & Teen Safe Driving Workshop In-Person

This free, interactive 75-minute workshop hosted by the Automobile Club of Southern California is open to all parents and their pre-permit teens (ages 14-17) to provide resources and guide families through important teen driving topics. All attendees will receive free resources and giveaways, courtesy of AAA, but you do not need to be a member of AAA to attendParents are required attend with teens, as this workshop is designed to benefit you both!

This workshop will be hosted in the Central Library Theater on the lower level.

  • The Graduated Driver Licensing components
  • The risks and responsibilities of driving
  • The parent's role in the learning process
  • How to pick a safe vehicle
  • What to look for in a driving school
