Join us for a high-energy dance workshop that blends cosplay with choreography, brought to you by the talented dancers of The Corps Dance Crew. This amazing professional dance crew is dedicated to bringing anime, video games, and comics to life on stage - for the love of the art, and the nerd in their hearts!

Whether you're a dancer, cosplayer, or just an anime fan, you're welcome to come join in the fun! Show off your favorite cosplay, or come in your comfiest clothes for easy movement - whichever you prefer. Participants are encouraged to get up and dance with us, but no dance experience is required. The Corps dancers will lead us through a warmup, teach us a bit of their choreography, and answer audience questions in a fun Q&A! This event is open to teens and young adults ages 13 to 25.

Who are The Corps Dance Crew?

The Corps is comprised of dancers from all over southern California who are trained in numerous genres of dance including jazz, ballet, tap and all foundations of hip-hop such as waacking and popping. Their unique and innovative sets incorporate both cosplay and theatre elements, bringing anime and comics to life through dance! The Corps performs annually at Anime Expo, and regularly at the world-famous San Diego Comic Con and its sister convention, WonderCon in Anaheim. With a crew of performers whose credits include Disney, America’s Best Dance Crew, Hip Hop International Champions, Nickelodeon, Cirque du Soleil, various awarded studios across the USA, professional sports spirit associations, and a plethora of awarded hip hop crews, The Corps is a melting pot of talent and quirkiness.  The Corps Dance Crew strives to maintain the sheer bliss of dancing, for the love of the art and the nerd in their heart!
