Teen Money Management with Youth Investors Corp. In-Person
Want to learn how to better manage your money as a teen? Curious about all the buzz around investing? Want to learn how to make more money as an adult? Join this engaging class that will cover everything from basic investment strategies to macroeconomics with a fun stock-market simulation game! The financial experts from Youth Investors Corp. are partnering with the Huntington Beach Public Library for a 5-week-long, bi-weekly Monday & Wednesday class session to share their interactive, hands-on approach to financial literacy and investing with HB teens ages 12-18. Participants will even engage in simulated stock market competitions with the chance of winning a grand prize grant of $500!
This class is open to middle school & high school teens ages 12 to 18. This event is series-linked, so if you register for one class - you are registered for all of them! We encourage registered participants to commit to attending as many class sessions as possible to receive the full benefit of these classes.
Participants are highly encouraged to bring their own laptop or Chromebook from home to each class. Chromebooks may be available to borrow from the library if participants do not have their own device.
